To commemorate the first 4-20 since recreational cannabis was legalized in the state of California,The Cannabis Social hosted an unforgettable red carpet event at AD Nightclub in downtown San Diego for over 120 guests.
The event projected a feeling fun and luxury from the moment one entered the venue. As guests crossed the threshold, they were photographed and treated to a class of champagne. They were then ushered into the lounge where they were able to enjoy live music performed by a five piece jazz band featuring Lexi Pulido.
The centerpiece of the the venue was a custom four foot tall hand sculpted ice bong. The bong was fully functional and guests were able to use this work of art to experience various cannabis flowers . They were also able to visit the adjacent dab bar. Food for the evening was prepared by celebrity chef, Ray Agishi. Guests dined on a delectable eight course infused tapas menu with items such as Truffle Edamame, Spicy Tuna on Crispy Rice, Salmon Carpaccio, Oysters on Half Shell, Ceviche Tacos, Izakaya Pork Belly Buns, and Fried Corn on the Cob while custom cannabis themed drinks were offered.
Sponsors for the evening included premier vendors such as Kushy Punch, SpeakEasy 710, and Cream of the Crop.
